Monthly Favourites | December

Happy New Year everyone!!
Even though this post is uploaded in 2016 it's technically the last favourites blogpost of 2015, I can't believe how fast 2015 went by!

My first favourite of December has been wax melts as i definitely burn them a lot more around Christmas time because i love all the festive scents, some of my favourites are: Snowflake cookie, toasted marshmallow, christmas treats, candy cane lane and sunlight on snow. I personally much prefer wax melts as i think they give out much more of a scent compared to a candle. They aren't at all expensive and you can burn them a good amount of times before the scent fades from the wax.

This next favourite is a nail polish from Avon, i got this free with a recent order we made. This is a gel finish nail polish in a true red shade called 'Roses are red'. I was quite excited to see if this actually looked like a gel finish and it does! Its very shiny and you only need about 2 coats of this polish but i think you could get away with 1 coat if you wanted. I was very surprised by the quality of this nail polish, i wore it for about 6 or 7 days before it started chipping which i think is absolutely amazing as when i use other polishes from different brands they usually last 2-3 days before they start chipping. If you're looking for new nail polishes, definitely check out Avon because this one is amazing quality considering it was free!

My next favourite is the Sleek Au Naturel eye shadow palette, i bought this quite a while ago and used it loads but then it kind of got pushed to the back of my makeup draw. This month i decided to start using it again and i realised how much i've missed it. The eye shadows are really pigmented and easy to blend and the palette only cost £7.99 which i think its so cheap for such a good palette.

Lastly, this is the revlon lip butter in the colour 'Candy apple'. I've been using this lip product so much this month because December is a Christmas month and Christmas means red lipstick, right? I'm not one to suit red lipstick which is the reason i love this product so much. Its definitely a more subtle red but can also be built up to a more bright red. Its also really moisturizing and doesn't dry your lips at all.

Hope you all had a great Christmas, what have been your favourite products of December?
