Revlon Ultra HD lipstick | review

Today i thought i would write a review on one of the new revlon ultra HD lipsticks, the one i have is in the shade Rose. These lipsticks cost £7.99 each.

I really love the colour of this lipstick i feel like its a perfect summer shade without being too bright. These lipsticks claim to have a weightless feel and a HD colour. I can defiantly agree with the weightless feel part, it glides on nicely and is moisturizing, although its not as moisturizing as revlons lip butters. i don't really see how they have a HD colour though and the colour doesn't last very long, maybe up to 2 hours.

The packaging is silver with a clear lid, i quite like the fact that the lid is clear so you can see what colour it is. One disappointing thing with this packaging is that the lipstick doesn't fully wind down so there is a bit sticking out the top which means its easy to take a chunk out the top of the lipstick when you're taking the lid on and off (which i have actually already done).

Overall i do like the lipstick but i don't think i would repurchase another one unless there was a colour i really wanted.

Mac lipstick in Brave | Review

Recently i decided to finally buy my very first Mac lipstick. I never rushed to buy one because, well for one they are quite expensive and i also wasn't sure if they were all that worth it. Before i bought one i searched around for a colour that i wouldn't regret buying when i got home. I decided to go for a wearable everyday nude shade as i would probably get more wear out of it than a bright one.

I was torn between 3 or 4 nude shades but i decided to settle with the colour 'Brave'. Its a dark neutral pink with a satin finish, the formula is very creamy and not drying at all. It gives a nice natural colour to your lips and lasts, i would say nearly 4 hours. After this purchase i defiantly think that Mac lipsticks are worth their price as the quality is amazing. I can't wait to start my collection of them now!

The Bronze Of Champions | Benefit Kit review

Recently it was my birthday and i was kindly given by my friend, The Bronze Of Champions Benefit kit. This is actually my first ever benefit product so i thought i would do a review on it.

It comes in a box which includes 6 products and a contouring brush. Each of the products are mini size which is good for me because i have never bought anything from benefit so i can see what i like and then i can go and buy the full size.

This kit comes with 2 eyeshadow products, the first one is a cream eyeshadow in the colour bikini-tini which is a shimmery champagne colour and the powder eyeshadow is called thanks a latte which is a shimmery brown. I love putting bikini-tini all over the lid with thanks a latte on the outer corner. Its a simple look but looks pretty!

It also includes a highlighter, this is the watts up highlighter. This leaves a lovely highlight on the tops of your cheek bones and i also find it comes in quite handy for inner corner highlighting because its so small.

The next thing is the they're real mascara. I have always wanted to buy this but never have because theres so many mixed reviews on it, some people say its amazing but others say its not worth the hype. Personally i think its amazing! it really lengthens my eyelashes and makes them really voluminous. I will defiantly be buying the full size when this one runs out.

Hoola bronzer seems to be everyones favourite bronzer so i've always wanted to try it but never got round to buying it. I have to say that i do love this bronzer and it looks very natural if you blend it well which is what i like.

Lastly is the hoola ultra plush lipgloss, It is a nude lipgloss with gold shimmer in it. I love the consistency of this lipgloss, its not sticky at all and is very smooth so i thought that i would love this but for me it doesn't last long at all which is really annoying! i probably wouldn't repurchase this as i don't think its worth the money but that's just me.

Whats your favourite benefit product?

L'oreal Paris colour riche lipstick | Review

Recently i picked up a new lipstick as i really want to have a better variety of lipstick colours in my collection as they are all very similar at the moment. As i was browsing the L'oreal lipstick section in boots i instantly fell in love this one - L'oreal colour riche in the colour 640 Erotique.

The colour of this particular lipstick is a medium pink with a slight hint of brown. This is actually one of the matte colours from the collection, i was expecting it to be quite drying but i was wrong. Even though its matte its so so moisturizing which is something i didnt expect as some can be slightly drying. This is probably the most moisturizing matte lipstick i have ever had.

This lipstick stays on for so long, even after eating i found that i didnt have to top it up like i usually have to do which is amazing because its a pain having to top it up constantly when it wears off. The cost of this lipstick is about £6.99 which in my opinion is a really good price for such a high quality lipstick. I think the L'oreal lipsticks are a new favourite of mine and i cannot wait to buy more as they have such a large variety of colours.

If you are looking to buy some more lipsticks i defiantly say you check out these ones as they are amazing!!

Maybelline Colour Tattoos | Review

Today i thought i would talk about the maybelline 24 hour colour tattoos as they are a well loved product in my makeup collection.

These 3 colours are probably my favourites of all the collection. They are called On and on bronze which is just your typical bronze shade, the other one is called Pink Gold which is a pink shade with a slight gold shimmer through it and the last shade is called Eternal Gold which is obviously a shimmery gold.

I love these colour tattoos because they can be used as a base for your eyeshadow and they can also be used on they're own.The pigmentation of these gel eyeshadows is really good and they stay on all day without budging. They cost £4.99 each and they come in a variety of different colours. These are really good if your in a rush doing your makeup because they take 2 seconds to apply and it looks like you actually made an effort.

These are defiantly one of my favourite and most used products and i really recommend them to anyone!

Hello 2015

At the beginning of a new year people tend to say 'new year, new me' like they want to forget about all the things that happened in the previous year and start fresh. For me, i think its good to remember all the memories and instead of making a 'new me' its better to reflect on all that happened in the last year and improve yourself rather than renewing yourself. I think you should try and make the best version of you and that's what you should focus on instead of making a new you.

If there are things you want to do and goals you want to achieve start right now in this moment because no time is better than right now. If you wait around hoping and wishing for things to happen they are not going to happen unless you try.

This year i would love to travel new places, start blogging more, take more pictures, meet people who make me happy and just appreciate everything around me. If you want this year to be the best year then that's up to you to make that happen.

Hope you all have an amazing 2015!
Love, Emily ♥

What i got for Christmas 2014 | Beauty Edition

Hello everyone!
Today i'm going to be showing you the beauty related things that i got for Christmas. In no way am i bragging, personally i love reading these type of blog posts so maybe someone else would like to read mine.

The first two things i got were both from the Zoella Beauty range. The body mist smells amazing and i think the packaging is so cute. I also got both of the makeup bags from Zoe's range although i have heard there's a new one out, so i may have to buy that one as well haha.

I got the real techniques core set and the limited edition Nic's picks set. I love real techniques brushes and a lot of the ones i got are already dirty so i didnt want to take a picture of dirty brushes.

The next thing i got was this Topshop blush in 'head over heels' and a Topshop lipstick in 'Wicked'. I have never actually had a Topshop blush before but i love it a lot, its probably my new favorite blush. As for the lipstick, i am in love with it, i have been looking for a colour like this for so long and this is exactly what i wanted so thank you, you know who you are;)

I got a small bottle of Ruth Crilly's dry shampoo. I wanted a small bottle before i went and bought a bigger one incase i didnt like it, but i will indeed be buying a bigger bottle because its AMAZING!

Next i got a big set of revolution makeup, there was a lot more in the box than in the picture but i just couldn't be bothered to get it all out, oops. I love makeup revolution because its really affordable and a lot of their stuff is good quality.

Lastly, i got the Stila in the light eyeshadow palette, i have wanted this for SO long! This is my first Stila palette and lets say its not my last. The pigmentation of the eyeshadows is amazing and the colours are so nice. If your thinking of buying this i would say go for it because you wont regret it.

Thank you for reading, if theres any blogposts you want to see from me then leave it in the comments:)
