Winter Tag

As its December tomorrow, i feel like my blog needs some festivity to it. Throughout December i want to start doing some Christmassy posts so i thought doing this winter tag was a good starter. There are many winter tags out there but this one was the one that i liked best so credit to whoever created it.

1. Favourite winter nail polish?
I have so many nail polishes that i love using for the winter months but i have to say that my favourites are probably these two from the maybelline colour show collection. Both are dark colours which i think is perfect for winter/Christmas time. The red one is called 'Candy Apple' and the purple one is called 'Noite De Gal'.

2. Favourite winter lip product?
I feel like Christmas is the time to wear all your red lipsticks but for me i tend to avoid them as they sadly, really don't suit me. This red revlon lip butter called 'Candy Apple' is the only red lipstick i wear as its not as intense as any other lipstick because its a lip butter but its also buildable as well. So this is probably my favourite winter lip product.

 3. most worn winter clothing piece?
The clothing item i wear the most in winter is definitely woolly jumpers, i specifically love over sized jumpers. I also love wearing boots in winter, my favourite ones are my black heeled chelsea boots that i bought from h&m a while ago.

4. most worn winter accessory?
For me i would have to say scarves, i think they are just a nice accessory and can look great with most outfits.

5. favourite winter scent/candle?
When it comes to christmas candles i prefer the more sweet scents, these are my two favourites this year. Snowflake cookie quite obviously smells like cookies and i love it so much. Candy cane lane smells minty, which i actually thought i wouldn't like but i absolutely love it for this time of the year.

6. Favourite winter beverage?
Definitely has to be hot chocolate, my favourite one has to be the options mint hot chocolate with whipped cream on top!

7. All time favourite christmas movie?
This is such a hard question as i have so many favourites, some of them are, the polar express, elf, grinch, nativity and SO many more!!

8. What is your favourite Christmas decoration this year?
I don't have one thing in particular that is my favourite but this year i bought a new christmas tree along with new decorations. This year i decided to go for a white christmas tree with gold and rose gold/pink decorations as i thought it was something different from the traditional green tree. Its not the best decorated tree in the world but i love it!!

Thats all the questions i'm going to answer today, I tag anyone who wants to do this tag, hopefully there will be more christmassy posts from me!

Monthly Favourites | September

This year is going so fast, i cant believe its October already! October is probably one of my favourite months because its all things autumn which is my favourite season and its also Halloween. So its time for a monthly favourites, i'm going to be showing you everything i've been loving throughout the month of September.

I have been absolutely loving this lipgloss from Tanya Burr cosmetics. This one is from her new range of lipglosses, the colour is 'lunch date'. Its a pinky nude that is perfect for everyday, i have been reaching for this almost everyday this month as its such a pretty nude lipgloss which is great for school as its not a bright noticeable colour.

This next favourite is the maybelline lash sensational mascara. I saw so many people raving about this so i had to pick it up as its only £7.99. This is the best drugstore mascara i have ever tried and i think its just as good as rollerlash which is twice the price of this one. If you're looking for a new mascara i would really recommend this one as its amazing!!

This is the benefit cream eyeshadow in the colour 'bikini-tini', its a lovely champagne colour. I have been using this so much this month as its perfect as a base for your eyeshadow or even looks great just on its own. I think this is a great product for when you're in a rush because its quick and easy to use and it lasts all day long.

My last favourite of this month is the Zoella Beauty candy cream body lotion, This is from Zoe's tutti fruity range. The consistency of the cream is perfect, its not too thick and also isn't at all oily. It has bursting beads and extracts of acai and blueberry which makes it smell amazing. With some body lotions it takes forever for the product to sink into your skin but with this one its fairly quick and you don't have to sit around feeling sticky.Another plus to this product is that the packaging is so cute and looks amazing in your bathroom or on your dressing table.

what have been your favourites this month?

Favourite Mascaras

I have been through many different mascaras from many different brands trying to find the perfect one for me. I think i have finally found my top 3 favourite mascaras so i thought i would share them with you today.

Benefit roller lash
I feel like this is a mascara that almost everyone loves. It has a hook n roll brush that curls and lifts your lashes amazingly without having to use an eyelash curler. It doesn't smudge or flake and lasts really long and is also easy to remove. This mascara just makes my lashes look amazing and it is defiantly the best mascara I've ever tried.

Maybelline Lash Sensational
When i first used this mascara, i'm not going to lie i really didn't like it, purely because it clumped my eyelashes so badly. I decided to leave it for a bit so that it would dry out slightly and after that i completely fell in love with it. It makes my lashes really stand out and voluminous. I personally think this mascara is just as good as roller lash and it so much cheaper.

L'oreal Miss Manga
I have repurchased this mascara many times because i think its one of the best drugstore mascaras out there. This mascara is obviously inspired by manga so its very lengthening and makes your lashes look thick which is personally what i like in a mascara. This is defiantly my staple mascara.

Out of all the mascaras i've tried, which is quite a lot, these 3 are my favourites.
Let me know what your favourite mascara is,

Monthly Favourites | July

July has flown by and now its August which means its time for a new favourites blogpost. I am going to be sharing with you what i have been loving this month.

The first thing i've been loving this month is benefits roller lash mascara. After seeing the price of this mascara i wasn't sure if it was worth it but i saw so many people raving about it that i had to buy it. I do not regret buying this mascara as its amazing! It gives so much volume and curl to your lashes without having to use an eyelash curler. Its defiantly become my new favourite mascara.

Next thing is this rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in 03. I've had this a while but this month i've found myself reaching for it almost everyday. Its the perfect nude shade and its just easy to put with any makeup look.

My next favourite is a blush, this one is a mosaic blush from MUA in the colour english rose. The reason i love this so much is because i'm not the type to go for a super pigmented blush as my cheeks are naturally quite rosy and sometimes using a blush can look too much. This blush only gives the smallest amount of colour but mostly give a very pretty highlight to the cheeks which i love.

I have been loving this sinful colours nail polish in the colour Island Coral. I think this is such a pretty colour and even though these nail polishes are so cheap (£1.99 each) they are the longest lasting nail polish i have ever owned. I wore this one for over a week and it didn't chip once. If your looking for some new nail polishes i really recommend sinful colours as they are amazing and have a wide variety of colours.

This month i've been absolutely loving the vampire diaries, Its amazing and i'm so addicted. If you're looking for a new tv show to watch then i defiantly say check it out because you won't regret it.

.

My final favourite of the month is a singer, Melanie Martinez. I've loved Melanie for about a year now and shes bringing out her first album called crybaby. She has already released some of the songs and they are amazing!! Defiantly check out her music because i think she deserves so much more recognition.

Revlon Ultra HD lipstick | review

Today i thought i would write a review on one of the new revlon ultra HD lipsticks, the one i have is in the shade Rose. These lipsticks cost £7.99 each.

I really love the colour of this lipstick i feel like its a perfect summer shade without being too bright. These lipsticks claim to have a weightless feel and a HD colour. I can defiantly agree with the weightless feel part, it glides on nicely and is moisturizing, although its not as moisturizing as revlons lip butters. i don't really see how they have a HD colour though and the colour doesn't last very long, maybe up to 2 hours.

The packaging is silver with a clear lid, i quite like the fact that the lid is clear so you can see what colour it is. One disappointing thing with this packaging is that the lipstick doesn't fully wind down so there is a bit sticking out the top which means its easy to take a chunk out the top of the lipstick when you're taking the lid on and off (which i have actually already done).

Overall i do like the lipstick but i don't think i would repurchase another one unless there was a colour i really wanted.

Mac lipstick in Brave | Review

Recently i decided to finally buy my very first Mac lipstick. I never rushed to buy one because, well for one they are quite expensive and i also wasn't sure if they were all that worth it. Before i bought one i searched around for a colour that i wouldn't regret buying when i got home. I decided to go for a wearable everyday nude shade as i would probably get more wear out of it than a bright one.

I was torn between 3 or 4 nude shades but i decided to settle with the colour 'Brave'. Its a dark neutral pink with a satin finish, the formula is very creamy and not drying at all. It gives a nice natural colour to your lips and lasts, i would say nearly 4 hours. After this purchase i defiantly think that Mac lipsticks are worth their price as the quality is amazing. I can't wait to start my collection of them now!
                                                      Whats your favourite mac lipstick?

The Bronze Of Champions | Benefit Kit review

Recently it was my birthday and i was kindly given by my friend, The Bronze Of Champions Benefit kit. This is actually my first ever benefit product so i thought i would do a review on it.

It comes in a box which includes 6 products and a contouring brush. Each of the products are mini size which is good for me because i have never bought anything from benefit so i can see what i like and then i can go and buy the full size.

This kit comes with 2 eyeshadow products, the first one is a cream eyeshadow in the colour bikini-tini which is a shimmery champagne colour and the powder eyeshadow is called thanks a latte which is a shimmery brown. I love putting bikini-tini all over the lid with thanks a latte on the outer corner. Its a simple look but looks pretty!

It also includes a highlighter, this is the watts up highlighter. This leaves a lovely highlight on the tops of your cheek bones and i also find it comes in quite handy for inner corner highlighting because its so small.

The next thing is the they're real mascara. I have always wanted to buy this but never have because theres so many mixed reviews on it, some people say its amazing but others say its not worth the hype. Personally i think its amazing! it really lengthens my eyelashes and makes them really voluminous. I will defiantly be buying the full size when this one runs out.

Hoola bronzer seems to be everyones favourite bronzer so i've always wanted to try it but never got round to buying it. I have to say that i do love this bronzer and it looks very natural if you blend it well which is what i like.

Lastly is the hoola ultra plush lipgloss, It is a nude lipgloss with gold shimmer in it. I love the consistency of this lipgloss, its not sticky at all and is very smooth so i thought that i would love this but for me it doesn't last long at all which is really annoying! i probably wouldn't repurchase this as i don't think its worth the money but that's just me.

Whats your favourite benefit product?
