Top 5 beauty products of 2015

I can't believe its almost 2016, this year has gone so so fast! So as 2015 is coming to an end i thought i would do a post about my personal top 5 beauty products of this year. I'm going to be sharing with you my most loved and used products of 2015.

Urban Decay Naked 2- This is my first and only naked palette i own. I always used to be put off by the price of these palettes as they are fairly expensive but after my birthday in April i finally gave in and bought Naked 2. I am so glad i bought it because it has definitely been my favourite eye shadow palette this year, its totally worth the money and i can't wait to buy more naked palettes in the future.

Soap And Glory SuperCat Eyeliner- This eyeliner is definitely my all time favourite from the drugstore. Its absolutely amazing and its only £6.00! Its a pen eyeliner which i find so much easier to use than any other eyeliner. I love this one because its such good quality at an affordable price. Its so easy to do winged liner thick or thin. This is most definitely going to be a continued favourite throughout 2016.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara-  So many people raved about this mascara this year so obviously i had to try it out as i'm all for trying new mascaras. This has got to be my favourite mascara out of all the ones i've tried and trust me i've tried a lot of mascaras, I think i even prefer it to roller lash. Theres no doubt i'm going to keep repurchasing this mascara as i love it so much and its definitely been my favourite of this year.

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer- When i first bought this concealer i was quite unsure of it because of the shimmer in it but its actually a really good concealer. The shimmer doesn't look bad, it makes your under eyes look a lot more bright and awake, hence the name. This concealer is quite a light consistency which i love but also has great coverage. This has most definitely been a staple in my makeup bag this year.

Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick 03- This lipstick has been my holy grail lipstick this year, i can't explain my love for it! I think this is the perfect nude shade and its a lipstick that actually suits me. I love the Kate Moss lipsticks as they are such good quality and long lasting at an affordable price. This shade in particular has just stood out to me more than any other this year. I wear it almost everyday and i'm not bored of it yet. I don't think i will ever stop repurchasing this lipstick because that's how much i love it haha!

So thats my top 5 makeup products of 2015, let me know what products have stood out to you this year!

What I Got For Christmas 2015

Hope you all had an amazing Christmas!!
Today i am going to be sharing with you some things i got for Christmas this year. I love seeing what people receive on Christmas because i'm nosey haha, so i thought someone else might want to see what i got!

Top to bottom- Creme brulee, Glamorous, Karma,
Grandstand.

The first thing i got was 4 makeup geek eyeshadows which i have wanted to try for so so long but their website didn't ship to the UK. I was so happy when beautybay.com finally stocked these eyeshadows and shipped them to the UK so i'm finally able to try them!! They look amazing and the packaging is so pretty, i also got a small Z palette to put them in. I'm so excited to start my collection of these eyeshadows!

The next thing i got was the Tanya Burr Cosmetics Candy Glam palette. This was part of Tanya's Christmas range so their was only limited stock of it and i was unable to get it as it was always out of stock and i was so upset. My mum managed to get it off ebay for me, which actually cost a lot more than its original price but i'm so happy and grateful that she got this for me as i wanted it so badly because it looks amazing and i'm so excited to start using it!

I also got the Better Than Sex mascara from Too Faced. I've wanted to try this mascara for so long and i'm so happy that i finally have it as i'm such a mascara junkie haha. I can't wait to try it out because it looks so good!!

I was also lucky enough to get quite a few Zoella Beauty products that i'm so excited to use. I got the two balmy duo and the cosy toesy set from Zoe's Christmas range, i love lipbalms and these ones look so cute!! I also absolutely love fluffy socks so i'm so excited to wear the ones from the cosy toesy set. I also got the soak opera from her original range which i've actually had before but i love it SO much because the scent of it is to die for, SO GOOD! From Zoe's tutti fruity range i got the Let's Spritz mist and the Scrubbing Me Softly body scrub which both smell absolutely amazing! The last thing i got was Zoe's Hey Roomie reed diffuser which is so cute. Zoe said the scent of the reed diffuser is the same as her original range which makes me so excited to use it because its one of my favourite scents ever.

I'm so happy i finally got Justin Bieber's new album 'Purpose' and One Direction's 'Made in the AM'. I am obsessed with these albums and i've had them on repeat ever since the day they came out haha!

These two Mac lipsticks i got are in the colours 'Velvet Teddy' and 'Faux'. I have wanted velvet teddy for the longest time so i'm extremely happy i've finally got it, its such a gorgeous colour. Faux is another one i've really wanted, its such a pretty nude colour, i'm obsessed!!

One of my favourite things to receive on Christmas is pajamas, i actually chose these ones out myself. They have pugs all over them and it says "Pugs & Kisses", i think they're so cute!! They're from primark if anyone was wondering haha!

This last thing is probably my favourite present out of them all. I finally got some Adidas Superstars, i've wanted these for what feels like forever and i'm so grateful i got them for Christmas. It doesn't bother me how unoriginal these shoes are because i think they are beautiful and i know i'm going to wear them to death.

I'm so happy and grateful for everything i got this Christmas and in no way am i trying to brag!!
I hope you all had an amazing Christmas,
Thank you for reading!!

Christmas Rudolph Nails

This post is going to be fairly short and simple but i thought i would share with you how i'm adding some festivity to my fingertips this Christmas season. This design is fairly simple to do but i think it also depends on how much patience you have because it does take some patience.

I first started out by using the Barry M all in one base coat, top coat and nail hardener as the base for my nail polish. I then painted my nails with the Avon gel finish polish in the colour 'Roses are red' except for the ring finger. I love this nail polish as it's super shiny and glossy which really makes it look like a gel finish.

On the ring finger i decided not to do a colour on the base and just go straight in with the design. I first used a brown nail polish to get the shape of the reindeer's head and then did some antlers with black nail polish as i didn't have a dark brown. After that had dried i used a white polish and a black polish to create the eyes. To make this a bit easier i used a dotting tool but you could also use a bobby pin if you don't have one. To finish off i used a shimmery red polish for the reindeer's red nose. To seal the design i used the Barry M clear top coat to make sure it lasts longer.

I didn't take pictures of each step when i was doing it so here's a step by step tutorial i found online:

Hope you enjoyed this post!
Merry Christmas!

My Christmas Tree

One of my favourite things to do during the lead up to Christmas is putting up the Christmas tree. I don't know why, but we've always had fake Christmas trees in our house although i think i would prefer to have a real one. I always have my own Christmas tree in my bedroom and have had the same decorations and the same tree for years and it was getting a bit boring, so this year i decided to go out and buy a new set of decorations and a new tree!

I decided to go for something a bit different from the traditional green, white and red colour scheme and saw these gold and rose gold/pink decorations and fell in love with them. They included matte, shiny and glittery baubles, i also decided to buy these gold glittery snowflakes to add a bit more variation. I bought a white tree this year because i thought it was a bit different and i feel like it goes a bit better with my choice of decorations.

I know its not the best decorated tree ever and it is quite sparse and simple but i really love putting up my Christmas tree every year so i thought i would make a blog post out of it as i also love seeing other peoples Christmas trees!

Whats your favourite thing about the lead up to Christmas?
